Hand engraved glass

The art of hand engraving
Hand engraving glass is achieved using a dentist drill and diamond encrusted burrs. Wood and rubber burrs are also used for the finer details, to create a shiny finish.

Sandblast engraved crystal and glass
If you are a commercial company looking for a wide range of products to be engraved, come to City of Derry Crystal.
We use a glass scriber sandblasting machine for commercial glass engraving; this ensures the sharpest cuts to the glass or crystal.
Frosted Glass
Sandblasting is often used to achieve an even, white frosted look but using this technique various patterns and effects can be achieved. If you have any questions about how you want your product to look, visit us today for expert advice.

Glass printing
City of Derry Crystal also offers a glass printing service. Up to four colours are available to be printed on any one product. We recommend glass printing for souvenirs, wedding favours and club or corporate gifts.
